SANT’ANNA WATER COMES TO BEFED

Sant’Anna Water, Italy’s favourite, comes to BEFED pubs, one of the most famous Italian pub chains.
The 0.5 l Sant’Anna water bottle will be enhancing the BEFED menu; conviviality, happiness and fun are the ingredients that make BEFED pubs unique, and suitable for a lunch or dinner with family and friends.

BEFED is a highly successful Italian company that was founded in 1996, and which has seen heavy development in recent years. The main strength of the BEFED brand is undoubtedly the quality of the products available, particularly the craft beer and the unique grilled cockerel prepared with a secret recipe by a famous Italian brand that makes an exclusive product for BEFED. In the meantime, the BEFED range has also been expanded, with sandwiches and burgers, vegetarian options and dishes for children.

Sant’Anna will be the water offered by BEFED, thanks to its exceptional qualities; it is a tasty and light water. It comes from one of the highest-altitude springs in Italy, having passed through granite rock that leaves little dry residue or minerals, and above all extremely low levels of sodium (1.5 mg/l), the salt that makes water heavier for our kidneys and bodies in general. The spring is surrounded by uncontaminated nature; the water is bottled in accordance with the strictest production standards and is free of all pollutants and bacteria. It has a dry residue of 22.0 mg/l, one of the lowest levels in the world. The chain is completed with distribution, which is organised to reduce the time between production and consumption to a minimum. Sant’Anna water, with its lightness and excellent organoleptic properties, is ideal for drinking at any time of the day, and its chemical and physical profile renders it perfect for preparing baby foods.

The agreement with BEFED represents an important sign of development for the Sant’Anna Water company in the HoReCa sector, which currently represents approximately 10% of turnover. The leading mineral water has identified the non-domestic sector as a fundamental and strategic driver for future growth and is aiming to double its presence in the channel by the end of 2022.
